Welcome

About me

First of all welcome to my website, and thanks for visiting.

My name is Matt Garnett and since 2010 I have been living and working in Prague, Czech Republic. Originally from the United Kingdom, I studied Fine Art Studio Practice and Contemporary Critical Theory at Goldsmiths College, London. While studying I was lucky enough to be taught by artists including The Chapman Brothers, Michael Craig-Martin, Glenn Brown, Fiona Rae, Margerita Gluzberg, and many others.

This site is home to some of my recent architectural, nature, and wildlife photography, which have become some of my passions since moving to Prague. As a wildlife and bird photographer here in the Czech Republic, I’ve found myself able to better connect with nature and combine my interests in the environment, art and composition with one another.

I use a Sony A7RIII full frame camera with Sony, Tamron, and Viltrox lenses. My editing is done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
